Suitable for: Students grades 6-8 whose first language is English. Students must have a Lexile Measure of 1000L or higher.

Course format:

• English only

• Recorded video broadcasts

• Multiple choice and free response question exercises and corrections

• One-on-one WeChat Q&A guidance

Course Features:

• A selection of articles related to climate change and global warming from prominent international newspapers

• Read and learn background knowledge related to 4 different aspects of global warming, supplemented by 6 opinion articles on current events related to global warming

• From the introduction to the body and conclusion, thoroughly analyze the structure of each article as well as the supporting arguments, counter-arguments, and rebuttals. Move from learning to application gradually.

• Includes a large amount practice and free response questions that require critical thinking

• Gradually acquire opinion article reading skills: master the ability to read and understand these types of articles more quickly during timed TOEFL exams, learn how to answer TOEFL style comprehension questions, summarize articles and identify key information
