What can students gain from the course?
By the end of the course, students will have a deep understanding of key concepts and specialized vocabulary in the biology of bacteria and viruses; furthermore, students will use and develop their critical and higher-order thinking skills and scientific reasoning skills in both familiar and unfamiliar contexts. Students will also communicate their knowledge and ideas to discuss, explain and/or argue particular points, which is an essential skill in science and also in academic writing as a whole.
